Anna Gunn was born in America. Anna Gunn is a US actress. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. She fell in love acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the mid-70s. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was employed as a theatre actor in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her hand at television as well as film roles. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was only in the latter part of 1990 when she landed an acting role on The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film, and other movies also featured her. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn starred in a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and final break-up echoes the final years in Walter White's story.
